Archie Dwight Wiegman (1886-1947)

Archie Dwight Wiegman was born on 9 January 1886 in Miami, Logan, Ohio to John William and Elmira Hayden (Ross) Wiegman.

Archie D. was 14 years old and in school in the 1900 census. He was a journeyman tinner in the 1910 census. From 1912 to 1915 he lived in Norfolk, Connecticut with his father and some of his siblings.

In 1913 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was called to active duty as a 2nd Lieutenant on 5 January 1918. He was part of the Ordnance Corps. He was honorably discharged on 23 October 1919.

Archie Dwight was a sales director for Investment Banking in the 1930 census. He was living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was single and I have not found any marriage record for him.

Archie Dwight Wiegman died on 19 September 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during a medical operation. He was buried on 25 September 1947 in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
